Mind Over Matter: Healthy Bowels, Healthy Bladder
This series, specifically designed for women, aims to provide strategies for preventing or alleviating symptoms related to bowel and bladder health. A suggested donation of $10 is requested. The August and September series will be held at Cedar Crest Senior Living, 1702 S. River Rd, Janesville. The sessions are scheduled for three Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on August 23, September 6 and September 20. Registration is required by August 15.
The October and November series will take place at the Edgerton Public Library, 101 Albion St., Edgerton. It includes three Tuesday morning sessions from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on October 15, October 29 and November 12. Please register by October 1.
Stepping On
This seven-week program, proven to reduce falls by 31%, features five guest speakers and requires a suggested donation of $15. The series will be held at SSM St. MaryÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Hospital, 3400 E. Racine St., Janesville, with sessions scheduled for Monday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Running from September 30 to November 11, 2024. Registration is due by September 20.
Healthy Living with Chronic Pain
This evidence-based program, developed at Stanford University, is designed for individuals experiencing persistent pain. The workshop includes six weekly sessions, each lasting 2 and a half hours. A suggested donation of $20 is requested. The October and November series will be hosted at Cargill United Methodist Church, 2000 Wesley Ave., Janesville. Sessions on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., starting October 23 and concluding November 27. Registration must be completed by October 11.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers — Online
This virtual workshop, designed to assist caregivers in managing caregiving challenges, meets once a week for six weeks. Sessions will be held online on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., starting September 18 and ending October 23. A suggested donation of $20 is requested.
