JANESVILLE – After significant turnout and enthusiasm for last weekendÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ National Quilting Day presentations at the Rock County Historical Society, another session of “Quilts, Textiles and Antique Sewing Machines†is in the books for Saturday, March 23 at 10 a.m.
The event will be held in the Tallman Carriage House, 440 N. Jackson St.
Items from the Lincoln-Tallman Museum collection will be featured, including a bed turning exhibit of a dozen 19th Century quilts and a curated display of textiles.
A Janesville couple also will set up a visiting display and demonstration of their 19th Century sewing machine collection.
Space is limited to roughly 40 people. Admission supports the preservation and education of the historical society.
