Justus W. Lock of 428 Harding St. was sentenced in Rock County Court on Thursday on charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana and LSD.

Janesville police found 2 pounds of marijuana and 35 doses of LSD when they raided LockÃÛèÖÊÓƵ residence last April.

In court Thursday, Assistant District Attorney Mary Bricco said Lock has already been sentenced in Walworth County to two years in prison and two years of extended supervision for delivery of cocaine.

And Lock had his probation revoked on five other Walworth County cases, for another two years in prison, online records indicate.

Judge John Wood added three years to LockÃÛèÖÊÓƵ prison time on the Rock County charges, plus three years of extended supervision.

Wood made Lock eligible for prison drug and rehabilitation programs that could reduce his sentence if he completes them successfully.

Bricco listed LockÃÛèÖÊÓƵ previous convictions in 2018, which included harboring a felon, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and substantial battery.

Defense attorney Francis Lettenberger said LockÃÛèÖÊÓƵ problems included a difficult childhood, but he did not go into detail.

Lock is smart, got his high school equivalency diploma while in jail, has taken some college classes, and is remorseful, Lettenberger said.

Lock apologized to the community and his family.

Wood noted Lock had admitted selling drugs in Delavan and said that contributed to the drug trade, which devastates peopleÃÛèÖÊÓƵ lives, calling it “pretty sad for a 19-year-old man.â€�

Wood required Lock to maintain absolute sobriety and stay out of bars and similar establishments while on supervision.
