A Janesville man facing multiple misdemeanor retail thefts since Aug. 1 picked up a new misdemeanor charge Tuesday and is also suspected in an armed robbery of a convenience store early Monday morning.

Joshua S. Sokolik, 45, was arrested Tuesday after police say they were tipped off to his involvement in the armed robbery at Lions Quick Mart, 104 E. Racine St., in which the store clerk was threatened with a knife.
