JANESVILLE — On Friday, the 81st anniversary of D-Day, Janesville community members gathered at the Marvin W. Roth Pavilion in JanesvilleÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ lower Courthouse Park, listening to veterans speak of their concerns about Trump administration cuts they say are directly affecting those who have served in the U.S. military.

Edie Baran and the Townhall Coalition organized the Veterans Town Hall to both commemorate D-Day and to honor veterans. Organizers also offered a table where attendees could write messages to WisconsinÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ elected representatives in Washington including U.S. Sens. Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson and Congressman Bryan Steil.
