Hedberg Public Library, 316 S. Main St., is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. HPL Express, located inside Uptown Janesville at 2500 Milton Ave., is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both locations will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

StoryWalk: Hedberg Public Library has two community StoryWalks, a walking route that includes an illustrated childrenÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ book, taken apart and displayed page by page. At Rotary Botanical Gardens, the featured title is “MortimerÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ First Garden,†by Karma Wilson and illustrated by Dan Andreasenn. At Robert O. Free lunch: Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. June 9-August 13, the School District of Janesville and the U.S. Department of Agriculture will offer children 18 years and younger free lunch in HPLÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Library Park. Lunch may not be taken to go. Adults 19+ may purchase lunch for a small fee. There will be no lunch on Friday, July 4.
